Don't I know it! Grad school is the best choice for me right now but I am resenting the loss of social life. One more year!

I actually got to the point where I didn't miss my social life, but rather almost resented the little bit that was left for interfering with important stuff I needed/wanted to do. I am not sure that was a good thing, but it helped me to finish.

I am so glad I am not on a Ph.D track. I don't think I could hack 5-9 years of this. I can't wait to reclaim my life!
