Many of my friends know britgeekgirl and dancingshaman. If you don't, you can ignore this post. If you do know Alex and Johanna, please take a moment to read about the event I've volunteered to host for them.

Community Gathering

Please join us Saturday November 14 in a get-together with Alex and Johanna. This is an opportunity for Alex and Johanna to simply see and be with their friends in a time when love shared can be the greatest gift. There will also be a ritual designed to raise energy directed towards helping Alex find peace and acceptance.

The RabbitWarren is hosting the get-together. Our experienced pagan priests will perform the ritual, with everyone in attendance encouraged to participate. We promise to keep the woo woo to a minimum. The results, however, will be real, and amazing. There will be lots of time for socializing after the formalities. At least one participant will be taking photos after the ritual, per Johanna's request.

This is a potluck event, so please bring a dish and beverage to share. Due to allergy concerns, please do not use any form of nuts, peppers (both spicy and not) or fungi. If we have more people than the house can accommodate, we may move to the backyard, so please bring cool weather gear. There are cats in residence, but they will be banished from the house for duration of the get-together. A hepa-filtered vacuuming ritual will be performed before the event.The house is also equipped with air ionizers. A severely cat allergic resident attests to the cats' minimal allergenic status. She avoids petting them and lives with them with no issues. There is no smoking allowed in the house but it is permitted in the backyard.

The door will be open to all at 3pm. Ritual will be performed at 4.

The RabbitWarren is central to most of the Bay Area, just off 880 in Hayward, close to 92. Please RSVP by responding in comments to the open post in shutt3rg33k's journal and she will contact you offline with the exact address. The Hayward BART station is within 2 miles of the residence. If you use public transportation, arrangements can be made to transport you to and from the station, as long as you arrive in a timely fashion (not during the ritual).

My darling feyandstrange and I would like to attend. Fey uses a power wheelchair. I understand from the Warren's online documentation that a simple ramp makes it wheelchair-accessible (yay, thank you!), but can transport from BART handle a powerchair? The chair is not something that can be picked up and carried by humans.
