Enterprise Marketing Writer

Apttus’ Enterprise Marketing Writer will report into the marketing team and will work with designers, product marketing managers, and campaign managers to create compelling content that addresses enterprise audiences and sales channels.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Effectively organize writing projects by collaborating with subject matter experts, content contributors, executives, PR, sales and marketing
• Generate high-impact educational content for thought leadership to extend reach and brand awareness including SEO-optimized website content, blog posts, white papers, research reports, newsletters, video scripts, and more
• Create integrated marketing content that supports marketing strategy for marketing initiatives and industry trends across a wide variety of sales, marketing and advertising assets
• Develop partner-specific and vertical-specific content and materials to support strategic alliances
• Develop, coordinate, post, and maintain editorial calendars

Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field or equivalent experience
• Strong, demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an easy to understand, compelling and engaging manner
• 1-3 years’ experience as professional marketing writer or in a content marketing role
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate story ideas at all levels across the organization
• Strong editing, proofreading, and interview skills
• Familiar with web content management systems and SEO best practices
• Excellent project and time management skills with ability to multitask and work in deadline-oriented environment
• Knowledge of enterprise software and/or quote-to-cash industry preferred
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience with WordPress, HTML editor tools, Salesforce, and Marketo preferred
